Ingredients
- 4 packages (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (or half cranberry + half orange marmalade)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, mayonnaise (or cream cheese), Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
3. Unroll crescent dough and arrange triangles in a circle on each sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing outward. Press seams to seal.
4. Spoon the turkey mixture around the inner circle of each dough ring, keeping filling away from the points.
5. Pull dough tips over the filling and tuck underneath to form a wreath.
6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds if using.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
8. Cool for 5–10 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve.
Notes
Swap turkey for rotisserie chicken if preferred.
Leftover stuffing or vegetables can be added to the filling.
Try a ham and Swiss variation, or make a veggie version with sautéed mushrooms and spinach.
This dish makes a beautiful, festive centerpiece for any holiday gathering.
