2. In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water and let it cool.
3. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
4. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
6. Mix sliced strawberries into the cooled jello and carefully pour over the cream cheese layer.
7. Chill the assembled dessert for 2–3 hours or until fully set before serving.
Notes
Make sure the jello is completely cooled before pouring it over the cream cheese layer to prevent mixing.
For best results, refrigerate overnight to fully set and enhance flavor.
Crush pretzels finely but leave some small pieces for extra texture.
This dessert can be made a day in advance, making it perfect for parties or holidays.
