Description
St. Patrick’s Day Brownie Trifle is a quick, easy, and tasty way to add some festive green into your day! Featuring layers of rich, chocolatey brownie and sweet vanilla pudding, this trifle not only tastes great, but looks pretty too!
Ingredients
- 1 box Brownie Mix (plus ingredients listed on the box for an 8×8 pan)
- 3.5 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix (use large box for full-size trifle)
- 8 oz Cool Whip
- Green Food Coloring
- Mint Oreos, crushed
Instructions
1. Cook brownies according to package directions and allow to cool completely.
2. Make pudding according to package directions. Stir in green food coloring until desired shade is reached.
3. Place a few Mint Oreos in a Ziploc bag, seal, and crush using a rolling pin or your hands.
4. To assemble the trifle: layer cut-up brownie pieces, then pudding, then Cool Whip.
5. Repeat layers once more: brownie, pudding, and Cool Whip.
6. Top with crushed Mint Oreos.
7. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
Make up to one day in advance and store covered in the refrigerator.
Best enjoyed fresh but can last up to 3 days refrigerated.
Use pistachio pudding instead of vanilla + food coloring for a quick shortcut.
Layer in a large trifle bowl or make individual portions in mini trifle cups.
