Description

A comforting and flavorful slow cooker turkey soup made with leftover turkey, simple vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or cozy evening meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.

2. Cook on low for 6–8 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until the soup is heated through and vegetables are tender.

3. Serve hot.

Notes

This recipe works with any leftover cooked poultry, such as chicken.

Feel free to add other vegetables like diced potatoes, green beans, or corn.
