Ingredients
- 14 oz chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Arrange sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli evenly on a sheet pan.
3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper, then stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
5. Pour the sauce over the sheet pan ingredients and toss to coat evenly.
6. Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until sweet potatoes are tender and sausage is cooked through.
7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes for a spicy variation.
Swap in pork or Italian sausage if preferred.
