Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
3. Pour in the honey BBQ sauce and stir until the chicken is coated.
4. Add the rice and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
6. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with green onions if desired. Serve hot.
