Mississippi Chicken & Potatoes is a comforting, family-friendly dish that combines tender chicken, hearty potatoes, savory seasonings, gooey mozzarella, and zesty peppers in one flavor-packed, easy-to-make meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 medium/large potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • 1 TBSP Aus Ju Gravy Mix
  • 1 TBSP Ranch seasoning
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • Pepperonchinis or banana peppers
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Wash and peel the potatoes; cut into cubes.

2. Toss potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

3. Air fry potatoes at 400°F for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through.

4. Cut chicken into cubes; season with olive oil, gravy mix, and Ranch seasoning.

5. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and cook seasoned chicken until golden brown.

6. Combine cooked potatoes with chicken in the skillet.

7. Top with mozzarella cheese and peppers; broil until cheese is melted.

8. Serve hot.

Notes

You can substitute the Aus Ju Gravy Mix with brown gravy mix or omit if unavailable.

For a spicier version, add more pepperoncinis or use hot banana peppers.

This dish can also be baked in the oven at 400°F for 25–30 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
