Description
Golden, crispy Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese with a buttery garlic crust and gooey melted cheese inside. The perfect 15-minute comfort food meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering the surface evenly.
3. Place two slices butter-side down on a skillet or board. Add half the cheese to each slice.
4. Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, to complete the sandwiches.
5. Heat a skillet over low heat. Cook sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
6. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 4–5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
7. Remove from heat, slice, and serve immediately while hot and gooey.
Notes
Use low heat to ensure the cheese melts without burning the bread.
Softened butter spreads more easily and evenly.
Pairs perfectly with tomato soup for a classic combo.
Customize with your favorite cheese or add-ins like tomatoes or jalapeños.
