Description

These BBQ Chicken Coleslaw Wraps combine tender shredded chicken coated in zesty BBQ sauce with crunchy, creamy coleslaw, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Perfectly delightful!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1⁄2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated with the sauce.

2. In another bowl, prepare the coleslaw by mixing the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure the ingredients are well combined.

3. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a portion of the BBQ chicken mixture onto the center of the tortilla.

4. Add a layer of coleslaw on top of the chicken. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

5. If desired, add a sprinkle of fresh cilantro for extra flavor and freshness.

6. Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to enclose the filling.

7. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

8. Serve the wraps immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for a chilled variation.

Notes

For added heat, consider adding sliced jalapenos to the filling.

Whole wheat or spinach tortillas can be used as a healthier alternative.

These wraps are excellent for picnics and on-the-go meals.
