Description

Experience the ultimate weeknight comfort with this effortless Crockpot Spaghetti and Meatballs. By slow-cooking pasta directly in a savory tomato sauce infused with honey, balsamic vinegar, and Italian herbs, you achieve a velvety, restaurant-quality meal without the hassle of boiling water. This hands-off, one-pot recipe is perfect for busy families, offering a deep, homemade flavor that develops slowly while you go about your day. It is an honest, reliable, and deeply satisfying dish that simplifies dinner time without sacrificing taste or texture.

Ingredients

Scale

15 oz can diced tomatoes
15 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 1/3 cups beef broth
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lb beef meatballs (fully cooked)
8 oz dry spaghetti noodles

Instructions

In a slow cooker, combine the diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, honey, balsamic vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir the ingredients well to incorporate the flavors.
Add the cooked beef meatballs into the sauce and stir gently.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on high for 1.5 to 2 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, break the dry spaghetti noodles in half and stir them into the slow cooker, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid.
Cover and continue cooking until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the sauce.
Stir well before serving to ensure the sauce coats every strand of pasta.

Notes

Ensure the beef broth is high quality for the best flavor base. If the sauce seems too thick after adding the pasta, add a splash of extra beef broth. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Do not overcook the pasta to avoid mushy texture.
