Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken breast, cubed (about 2 inches)
12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup milk (or vegetable broth)
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until golden and cooked through.
Stir in garlic, Cajun seasoning, and thyme; cook 2 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream and milk; simmer until sauce thickens (8-10 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper; combine with cooked pasta.
Notes
Substitute chicken with shrimp (200g) if preferred.
Use vegetable broth for a dairy-free option.
