Description

A warm and comforting Broccoli Casserole with Cream of Chicken Soup, topped with savory stuffing and baked until golden and bubbly. Perfect as a hearty side or standalone meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32-ounce) package frozen broccoli cuts, thawed
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, unsalted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (6-ounce) package stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC).

2. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.

4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

5. Sprinkle the uncooked stuffing mix evenly over the top of the casserole.

6. Pour the chicken stock evenly over the stuffing mix to moisten it.

7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the stuffing is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling around the edges.

8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make sure the broccoli is fully thawed and drained to avoid excess moisture.

For extra richness, use cream of chicken with herbs or add cooked diced chicken to the mix.

This casserole pairs well with roasted meats or can be served as a vegetarian main dish (if using cream of mushroom instead).
