Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup BBQ sauce (non-alcoholic)
2 tbsp olive oil (optional for brushing)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Season chicken with salt and pepper
Mix chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl
Lightly brush chicken with olive oil if desired
Evenly coat chicken with spice mixture
Bake for 25 minutes
Brush ¼ cup BBQ sauce over chicken and bake 10 minutes more until golden and juice runs clear

For crispier skin, use bone-in thighs with skin
